An Inclusive section has been added to the EBN Quality Questionnaire!

As you may know, last week we launched the EBN self-assessment questionnaire. We have been able to accelerate the timeframe and launch the survey at the beginning of the year and, as usual, EU|BICS  will have two months to complete and submit the questionnaire!

The novelty this year concerns the addition of a fifth section on ‘Inclusive Services’. As you may recall, EBN recently kick-started a two-year joint project between EBN and the JPMorgan Chase Foundation. Now known as FIBIA (Fostering Inclusive Business Incubation & Acceleration), the project’s objective is to empower business incubators and accelerators to become more socially inclusive in their service offering. To help us understand the level of existing support, the fifth section on inclusivity asks questions regarding the services that EU|BICS are providing to entrepreneurs from disadvantaged groups.

The questionnaire will not only be completed by EU|BICS , but also by other business support organisations active in the field of social inclusion and which receive funds from the JPMorgan Chase Foundation. Once all the data will be collected, we will be able to identify trends, best practices and weaknesses in the sector and respond with the creation of material such as technical guides and training material for incubators and accelerators looking to expand and diversify their business support services to marginalised groups.

The EBN Congress will hold a FIBIA  session where the scope of the project will be opened to other interested EBN members, in order to come together and analyse the initial statistics gathered from the questionnaire.
