EU|BIC Essentials Training Track 2025

Valorisation of R&I results through incubation and acceleration pathways.
Training week: online, 06-10 October 2025 (10h00 – 12h30 Brussels time)
The EU|BIC Essentials Training Track is EBN’s cornerstone capacity-building event, designed to strengthen the strategic and operational capacities of EU|BIC managers and incubation practitioners. The 2025 edition addresses a pressing challenge in today’s innovation landscape: how to valorise research and innovation (R&I) effectively, through structured incubation and acceleration pathways, especially for deep-tech and IP-intensive ventures.
Strategic Value
- Master valorisation pathways and essential deep-tech support programmes inspired by the proven practices of the EU|BIC community.
- Learn how to build high-quality incubation programmes that align with EU|BIC excellence standards and impact indicators.
- Connect with expert trainers and facilitators who have a proven track record in designing structured programmes for knowledge valorisation and deep-tech support, driving measurable impact within their innovation ecosystems.
This year’s edition is built around two strategic pillars:
- From Knowledge to Commercialisation: Knowledge Valorisation
- Deep Tech Scalable Ventures
Together, these pillars empower business support organisations (BSOs) to catalyse the transformation of intellectual capital into entrepreneurial growth and regional impact.
The following two chapters explore each of these two strategic pillars more in depth, outlining the key training modules, methodologies, and thematic focus areas that will guide participants throughout the week.
The training will be delivered online over five sessions of 2,5 hours each, from 6 to 10 October 2025, comprising four training modules and a final debriefing session.
