Clarelisa Camilleri is a Senior Project Leader at EBN responsible for delivering EU and non-EU projects. Her focus is on the FIBIA project (see below) and on building relationships with foundations, banks and non-EU institutions. Clarelisa is the backup manager of the Social Impact Special Interest Group (SIG).
Clarelisa is the FIBIA Programme Coordinator, whose aim is to foster inclusive business support services for under-represented entrepreneurs in Europe. The project has been pushed forward through a data collection exercise to benchmark inclusive business support organisations to industry peers, paired with peer to peer visits among different types of organisations to stimulate the exchange of best practices and inclusive programmes.
Clarelisa previously worked in the EU|BIC Services Department where she contributed to the provision of sound and professional services to over 150 European Business Innovation Centres (EUBICs). She gained extensive knowledge on innovative entrepreneurship and business support practices through her support to the management of the EBN Quality System. She contributed to the annual collection of data and elaboration of benchmarking reports for three years in a row as well as supported the organisation of EBN’s annual TechCamp, where incubation and acceleration practitioners from EU|BICs in Europe and beyond come together for mutual learning, experience exchange and enhancement of technical know-how.
Clarelisa completed a Masters in Management at Imperial College London (2014) after achieving an undergraduate degree in History and International Relations (2012) from the University of Exeter.
