EBN has been engaged in the Atlantic Digital Start-up Academy (ADSA) project to stimulate startups using digital and internet technologies from the Atlantic Area (AA) to go international. ADSA’s mandate is to support digital startups based in the Atlantic region to develop their business outside their regions and countries and to this end, the AA is considered as a first step towards their expansion to other markets.
The last two months have been lively to say the least, the ADSA team coordinated by EBN’s member Technopole Brest - Iroise with the technical expertise and support of an additional three members of EBN’s network, WestBIC, CEEI Bahai de Cadiz, IPN and the rest of project partners including SPN, Cork City Council, Enterprise North West, University of Porto and Camaras Andalucia have accompanied 29 start-ups to the Dublin Tech Summit in April. In addition, ADSA Demo Day took place on the 23rd and 24th of May 2019, in which 15 selected companies through the ADSA project participated in the Venture Academy organised by the University of Porto.
