EBN has been recently involved in a technical assistance assignment aimed at supporting the local actors in the Senegalese region of Kaolack to design an incubator dedicated to help local innovative entrepreneurs.
This action is undertaken thanks to the decision of The International School for Knowledge, Innovations, Policies and Territorial Practices for the United Nations Millennium Platform, to enter into an agreement with EBN.
The first mission took place in week 17-21 March 2014, where Giordano Dichter, head of the EBN BIC Services Team and Pietro de Martino, director of the FILSE incubators in Genova have been involved in starting the design of the incubation model in Kaolack, through the factual involvement of the local stakeholders. Indeed a workshop took place in Kaolack where the necessary information to design an initial model has been provided.
The technical assistance activity will see also the involvment of other italian experts coming from the EBN - eu|bic environment. The design phase will come to an end within the month of May 2014.
