EBN is happy to announce that Centech, an incubator for technology companies dedicated to hardware and advanced technologies from Canada has joined EBN.
Based in Montréal, Centech focuses on the development and commercialisation of breakthrough technological innovations, with core activities revolving around mentoring, presentations and development workshops by experts.
More than 100 entrepreneurs supported by Centech get the chance to manage and grow their technology companies with full right on keeping their intellectual property and equity, while receiving in-depth supervision and mentoring.
Centech considers its biggest strength a partnership with ETS, the second largest engineering school in Canada, focused on combined desire to innovate. As a partner in the development and growth of ETS’s entrepreneurial sector, Centech has access to a large pool of entrepreneurs, industries and ambassadors that touches all technological spheres.
To help growth of innovative technology companies, Centech offers four programmes:
- Acceleration Program - Each year, the program invites three cohorts of entrepreneurs to take a significant step forward (project submissions are in August, November and April).
- Propulsion Program- The Propulsion Program empowers entrepreneurs to conquer global markets. To access this two-year program, entrepreneurs must successfully complete the Acceleration Program first.
- International Program- International companies, often European, who choose Montreal to embark on a conquest of the North American market, are also welcome at Centech as part of the International Program (a soft landing platform).
- ETS Enterprise Program -With the ETS Enterprise Program, Centech welcomes large companies and corporations wishing to develop new products with the agility of startups.
EBN wishes Centech a warm welcome and looks forward to a fruitful collaboration.
