Interested in doing business in the ASEAN region? Helps us shape the supporting services for you!

As the ASEAN region (Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Laos, Brunei, Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, Cambodia and the Philippines) is increasingly popular among the EU SMEs due to its high growth and attractive market prospects, EBN is gathering feedback from the EU SMEs interested in conducting business in the ASEAN region to understand better the obstacles they face when entering that market and how internationalisation opportunities for EU SMEs to ASEAN region could increase.

The result of the survey will serve to support SEBSEAM-M (Support to EU Business in South East Asia (MALAYSIA) in shaping business support services to EU SMEs interested in conducting business in the ASEAN region.

  • to identify obstacles SMEs entering ASEAN market are facing;
  • to gain deeper understanding of needs of those companies who want to enter ASEAN market;

About SEBSEAM-M (Support to EU Business in South East Asia (MALAYSIA)

SEBSEAM-M (Support to EU Business in South East Asia (MALAYSIA) is an initiative co-funded by the European Commission, led by the EU-Malaysia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (EUMCCI), and managed by EBN.

EBN, as a network of over 200 members supporting EU SMEs, plays a role in helping the SMEs gain deep understanding of the ASEAN market by providing business services, capacity building, trade missions and informative web portals with IPR and Standards Help Desks.

The project is aimed at promoting Malaysia as a direct trade market and as an easy, cost-effective gateway to the ASEAN market of 600 million consumers. At the same time, Malaysian SMEs wanting to establish themselves regionally benefit from partnership with reputed and innovative EU companies which can offer high standard quality and services.
