Routes to Success for Netherlands Incubation Industry

The Dutch Incubation Association (DIA) organised, in collaboration with Pioneerz, the conference on the further development of the Dutch infrastructure for start-ups and innovation towards a world class Incubation Country.

The Dutch Incubation Forum took place on 12 November in The Hague (Netherlands). This Forum is an official side event of Border Sessions. The event gathered managers from incubators, accelerators, centres for entrepreneurship, science parks and other start-up support organisations as well as policymakers and stakeholders with the aim to design a cooperative framework to strengthen the Dutch Knowledge Exploitation Infrastructure as an essential ‘backbone’ of a successful innovation ecosystem.

Attendees had the opportunity to get inspired by visions and experiences from around the country and the U.S.A through the presentations and speeches of speakers like Marcus Fernhout of MIT/Cambridge Incubation Centre and Aard Groen from NIKOS/VentureLab Accelerator.   These professionals will work on further development of the Dutch start-up ecosystem, international attractiveness and growing entrepreneurs’ ambitions.
