BIND4.0 - Apply now for the first startup accelerator for industry 4.0

The EBN Basque Members BIC Araba, BIC Bizkaia, BIC Gipuzkoa collaborate with Basque Country Government, the Business Agency in Basque Country (SPRI) and the Provincial Council in Bind 4.0, an acceleration programme to support industry 4.0 startups. The Basque accelerator was officially launched, and now offers the opportunity to startups focused on Industry 4.0 to apply.

Bind 4.0 is a public-private acceleration programme that lasts six months and takes place in the Basque Country, Spain. It focuses on Industry 4.0 early-stage startups, including big data, additive manufacturing, artificial vision, cloud computing, augmented reality, cybersecurity, cyber physical systems and collaborative robotics.

The local Basque Country BICs and Technology Parks will provide thhe entrepreneurs the space and environment to work and develop their projects, as well as giving them access to training, coaching and financing within the BICs. 

This initiative has been launched by the Basque Government and some of the world top companies in the field, such as ABB, CAF, Iberdrola, CIE Automotive, Danobat Group, Euskaltel, ITP, Mercedes-Benz Vitoria, Michelin and Repsol Petronor. The Bind 4.0 pogramme includes:

  • Up to €75,000 contract with a top industry firm;
  • Support services: World-class mentoring, excellent education, demo day, access to finance (up to €500,000), participation in a top Industry 4.0 event;
  • Networking: Close contact with the local industry and startup ecosystem, which is one of the strongest in Europe;
  • No equity: there are no charges nor is equity taken from the startups.
