Location: Martinique, France
As a way to celebrate its 25th anniversary, Technopole Martinique-CACEM joined forces with RETIS and EBN for an end-of-year event gathering the networks’ members and other innovation stakeholders. EBN’s and RETIS’ members can attend the event for free, while others will have to pay 100 euros for an entrance fee.
Since EU|BIC Technopole Martinique-CACEM has been successfully providing expert support to SMEs and startups away from European decision-making centers, the main theme of the Congress is “Innovate away from decision-making centres”, exploring the ways in which more remote regions can become a nutritious soil for regional startups and SMEs to develop and grow.
The conference will also familiarise EBN and RETIS Members with the innovation mechanisms that are specific to the insular economies, while strengthening the networks’ presence in these remote territories.
Morever, during the event, the participants will learn more about “RETIS White Paper: 10 suggestions for the Innovation” , a white paper published 10 years ago by RETIS members. The idea will be to evaluate the suggestions, putting them in the contemporary context while setting the foundation for the innovation strategy of tomorrow.
EBN CEO Javier Echarri, EBN and RETIS President Patrick Valverde, RETIS Director Cristèle Couget, and Technopole Martinique-CACEM’s Director Gilles Gestel will lead the opening session.
