ACE Creative Bootcamp for Hub Managers

From 14:00 to 18:00
Location: Amesterdam, Netherlands

What does the ideal hub look like in 2020?

Join us on 13 May from 14.00 – 18.00 at Makerversity in Amsterdam for this unique experience. Participation is free and registration is by email to earl@ecbnetwork.eu.

The creative industries are amongst the most rapidly growing parts of the world economy. They are demonstrating the ability to employ culture and creativity to provide insights into and solutions for the pressing social and economic challenges of our times. When properly nurtured, the creative industries can enable job growth and wealth creation, and support social inclusion, cultural diversity and environmental sustainability. Talent can be employed and used not just within the creative industries, but across sectors to share knowledge and develop breakthrough innovations.

What is the role of creative hubs in nurturing this potential? What will the ideal such hub look like in 2020? EBN’s ACE Creative partner, the European Creative Business Network, is taking advantage of the European Culture Forum to gather together hubs combining creativity and technology for an ACE Creative Bootcamp during which we will work towards a crowdsourced answer to these questions.

The workshop will be built around the core question, “What does the ideal creative hub look like in 2020?” and will look for the answer in best practice exchange and analysis around the topics of:

  1. Hub Business Models
  2. Community Management
  3. Hub Interconnectivity: Digital and Physical

As well as hub managers from all across Europe, we will be joined by seven Asian creative hub managers, handpicked for their creativity, uniqueness, nerve and talent. We are thrilled to find out how their perspective will contribute to the discussion.

Join us on 13 May from 14.00 – 18.00 at Makerversity in Amsterdam for this unique experience. Participation is free and registration is by email to earl@ecbnetwork.eu.
