Access to Finance for Women Entrepreneurs at Womenize!

WeHubs will be present at Womenize with a workshop on access to finance for women entrepreneurs in teh digital media sector! Registration is available here

The event that will take place during the Game Week Berlin (21st - 26th April). The workshop will explore the opportunities and challenges related to investment from the point of view of women investors and entrepreneurs in the sector. Experienced women equity investors and women entrepreneurs will share their experience and provide insights on various funding opportunities in order to reinforce financial understanding and support women entrepreneurs to secure funds. The audience will learn about the existing European Women Business Angel initiatives, the ways to approach equity investors and the possible benefits of having women investors on a startup board.

"Womenize! Tech, Digital Business and Media" is a recruitment and training experience for women’s career building in games and IT companies. The event takes place in Berlin on the occasion of "Girls' Day“, the nationwide action day for girls, and is a premium event of the International Games Week Berlin (April 21-26, 2015). The aim is to firmly establish the subject beyond 2015 and to carry it into other industries. "Womenize!" connects, documents and reflects on the many activities offered to promote women in the workplace. In cooperation with the Senate for Economy, Technology and Science Berlin and the project “BERLIN meets POLAND”. "Womenize! Tech, Digital Business and Media" is a project by Ruth Lemmen and Michael Liebe.
