Creative Hubs Mapping Survey

British Council, ADDICT Creative Industries Portugal and the European Creative Business Network are working on an European Creative Hub Mapping survey, to better understand the European landscape for Creative Hubs and Clusters. Here is the link to the survey.

Creative Hubs are a key element for the European economy, fostering economic growth, qualified employment, and assisting in the internationalisation of the creative and cultural economy. Whether supported through the subsidised sector or through private investment, whether developed in partnership with large institutions such as Universities or maintained through loose collectives, Europe’s Creative Hubs offer creative businesses the opportunity to grow, thrive and to reach larger markets and wider audiences.

Following the mapping survey, British Council Lisbon and ADDICT are also organising the European Creative Hubs Forum, in Lisbon, January 2015: The three-day forum will seek to offer Creative Hub Managers opportunities to meet and learn from colleagues managing comparable Hubs across Europe; it will compare and contrast business models and institutional structures; it will offer training and networking opportunities; and it will bring Creative Businesses and investors to a dynamic conversation about achieving long-term sustainability for Europe’s Creative Hubs.
