A native South African, he has over 23 years of experience working in both the public and private sectors and across various industries at an executive level in blue-chip companies within South Africa. He began his career in ICT before establishing his own company in 1999 and has since been involved in various successful businesses.
Since 2006, he started focusing on creating a new mindset towards Economic and Social innovation, and has developed award winning strategies that partner economic actors and corporates in its new approach to Enterprise and Supplier Development in order to stimulate local economies. His innovation has given birth to the first Hybrid Incubators in South Africa which are now being rolled out in various provinces. His drive to grow the South African economy through innovation has resulted in NGM receiving European Union accreditation by EBN as the first and only EU|BIC (Business Innovation Centre) in Sub-Saharan Africa. His laudable contribution in developing ICT, Construction, Energy and Mining sector stimulation programmes to generate sustainable Local Economic Development and SMME growth has been welcomed and adopted by various public and private sector entities.
He is a graduate of WITS University in South Africa, and received a MBA with majors in International Strategy from De Montford ,United Kingdom.
He was recently appointed onto the Board of Directors of SABTIA (Southern Africa Business Technology Incubation Association) where he serves as Vice Chairman.
He is committed to community development and also serves on the Pumas United Social Investment Committee since 2009.
