Stefanos holds a MSc in Management and a MA in International Relations from Boston University, and a BSc in Business from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business. He has a professional experience of over 20 years in management positions, specializing in strategic and business planning, budgetary and financial issues, marketing & business development, project & HR management.
He currently holds the position of Intermediate Management Body Programme Manager in Corallia, responsible for the monitoring and management of the “Phase-2 Hellenic Technology Clusters Development Programme in Nano/Microelectronics and Embedded Systems”, a dedicated “Aid Measure” sub-programme, under the National Strategic Reference Framework (NSRF).
Prior to his involvement in Corallia, he has been engaged in various management positions in both international organizations, such as the European Commission in Brussels where he worked for the RDT: Information Technologies – ESPRIT Programme, as well as in large organizations such as the ATHENS 2004 Olympic Games Organizing Committee where he served as Section Manager Responsible for Planning and Budget Monitoring/Control of the Opening and Closing Ceremonies for the 2004 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Stefanos also worked for a number of private sector companies, ranging from consulting and educational institutions to F.M.C.G. and automotive companies, serving from various positions. He has also undertaken a number of short term projects, as private consultant/auditor, for EU funded institutions (e.g. European Agency for Reconstruction in Kosovo).
He speaks Greek, English, Italian and French, and during his undergraduate and graduate studies has received honours for high academic performance, and was a member of various Honour Societies.
