I graduated in Statistical Science at the University of Palermo in 1984. In 1985 I complete my training thanks to a three-year scholarship for research in computer science. In the early years I deal with artificial intelligence and later computer systems dedicated to small and medium-sized enterprises. I have developed a specific expertise in management and implementation of research and training projects funded on national and European funds. Over the past 15 years I have specialized in the assistance and support to enterprises for technological transfer, especially within European networks (the Innovation Relay Centres Network until 2007 and the Enterprise Europe Network since 2008). I recently started to work intensively on Intellectual Property issues participating in the EU IPR Helpdesk Ambassador Programme in the framework of the Enterprise Europe Network. In the years 2011 - 2014 I have worked as a senior expert for the Department of Development and Economic Cohesion in the area of the “Framework Program Agreement - Sicily – System Actions for Tourism”. I’m quite good in managing working teams. I like good books and to cook for friends.
