EBN welcomes a Polish delegation in the framework of a H2020 Training
Monday 25 November 2019, EBN welcomed a delegation of 15 participants coming from the southern region of Malopolska in Poland to attend a full-day training on how to build a successful application under Horizon 2020 Research & Innovation programmes.
Among these organisations were representatives of companies in the field of ICT, agri-food, life-science and metal production. Regional institutions and innovation and business ecosystems were well represented too by the Regional Development Agency of Malopolska, the local government of the Opolskie Voivodship, the Opole Centre for Economic Development, and our member the EU|BIC of Krakow TP .
After an introduction to EU framework Programmes for Research & Innovation and a presentation of specific projects under EBN ’s management by EBN, Mr. Thiago Tavares from VVA Brussels shared his insights on how to build a winning consortium and develop a proposal while sharing tasks and obligations; as well as how to build a budget. Participants then explored the ins and outs of the application and financial rules under H2020. This session raised many questions from the audience and generated a lot of interaction between EBN’s senior projects leaders and the participants. The training ended with an overview on Interreg’s funding scheme and the priorities to be tackled.
