EU|BIC PPNT | Scale-up Champions launches call for its last Investment Readiness Programme

Are you interested in the deep-tech startup ecosystem? Would you like to expand your network, gain market insights, and become part of an international network of like-minded entrepreneurs and investors? Then you should continue reading this post with attention! 

Organized by EU|BIC Poznan Science and Technology Park, Scale-up Champions has opened a new call to join its Investment Readiness Programme, an initiative seeking to boost the deep-tech tech startup ecosystem by connecting startups with mentors, investors and corporates across Europe. Applications are open until 13 September for startups working in deep-tech that want to accelerate their growth, as well as for investors, business angels, venture capitalists and mentors that would like to broaden their connections and market insights. 

This is the third and last edition of the programme, which has already built a network of global changemakers, including over 100 top-notch investors, venture capitalists and business angels. These investors come from all over Europe, but mostly from these five growing deep tech startup ecosystems: Denmark, Estonia, Lithuania, Poland and Spain. 

The startups participating will enjoy a series of personalised mentoring sessions, training activities and individual meetings with experts to increase their fundraising capacity. In addition, there will be several workshops and networking events to connect entrepreneurs, corporates, mentors and investors from all over Europe, such as the Investment Readiness Demo Day. This event, celebrated towards the end of the programme, encompasses a pitching contest where the participating startups pitch their projects live in front of investors. Moreover, it also includes a set of panels and workshops with experts and a virtual matchmaking session during which the startups and investors have the chance to meet one-on-one, increasing and accelerating the deal flow.
