Call for Experts: TTO Capacity Building Training

EBN is pleased to announce an open call for expressions of interest from EU|BIC community members to contribute to a significant capacity-building initiative in Lebanon. This opportunity forms part of the Lebanon Innovate project, which aims to support the transformation of innovations and technological findings emerging from universities into market-ready products and commercial ventures to boost the Lebanese productive sectors.

The goal is to identify expert trainers to design and deliver a comprehensive training programme for the university Technology Transfer Office (TTO) staff.

The selected expert(s) will be responsible for:

1. Designing a comprehensive training program, incorporating theoretical frameworks, case studies, and practical exercises (based on an assessment previously completed).
2. Delivering in-person training sessions, ensuring interactive and application-focused learning.
3. Utilising a previously developed TTO toolbox, integrating it into the curriculum to provide universities with practical implementation tools.

Organisations interested in contributing to this initiative are invited to submit an Expression of Interest by noon on Monday, 25 April 2025. Submissions should be sent to Joanna Abi Abdallah at Joanna.Abiabdallah@ebn.eu.

This initiative presents an excellent opportunity for EU|BIC members to support innovation capacity building in a dynamic regional context, while also showcasing the impact of cross-border collaboration in the field of research and technology transfer.
