Soft-landing to France & Belgium: Exploring Innovation Support Ecosystems

As part of the Lebanon Innovate programme, participants from Lebanon took part in a soft-landing study visit to France, gaining first-hand experience of European innovation and technology transfer ecosystems.

The visit included meetings at IncubAlliance and Grand Nancy, where participants explored how innovation support organisations, business incubation services, and regional technology transfer structures operate in practice. The programme provided valuable examples of successful models that can help strengthen innovation support and entrepreneurship in Lebanon.

Following the study visit, participants attended EBN Techcamp 2025, co-hosted by EU|BIC CAP Innove. Over two days, incubation programme managers and entrepreneurship and innovation support professionals took part in expert-led sessions, peer exchanges, practitioner testimonials, and field visits focused on the latest technological trends in autonomous systems and agrifood.

The soft-landing programme offered participants an opportunity to build international networks, exchange best practices and gain practical knowledge to support the further development of innovation and technology transfer in Lebanon.
