RTC North
RTC North has worked with small businesses across the North of England for more than 30 years, operating from the North East, North West and Yorkshire & Humber. It delivers publicly funded business support through three service lines — Innovate, Compete and Grow — covering technology adoption, product development, leadership and skills, international market entry and growth strategy. Programmes are funded by government departments, combined authorities and national funding agencies, so most support reaches companies fully or part-funded.
The record behind that: over 30,000 small businesses supported, more than £500 million raised for clients, over 2,000 new products and services brought to market, and more than 10,000 jobs created. RTC North puts its contribution to the northern economy at £2.57 billion.
RTC North is employee-owned and a certified B Corporation. Its STEM work reaches 76,000 students a year, including the CyberFirst Horizons programme, and it runs Scaleup North East alongside the Northern Spotlights interview series.
