Florida High Tech Corridor
The Corridor is one of the nation's premier innovation enablers, anchored by three of the country’s largest research institutions: the University of Central Florida (UCF), the University of South Florida (USF) and the University of Florida (UF). We foster collaboration among universities, industry, entrepreneurs, investors, and government to accelerate technology commercialization and economic growth with several critical initiatives that include:
- International Ecosystem Representation – The Corridor represents regional innovation to drive collaborative international opportunities through missions, outreach and engagements. We provide soft landing assistance often in collaboration with our regional partners that include university-affiliated incubators.
- An industry clustering initiative, Cenfluence (www.cenfluence.com) – Cenfluence actively supports more than 375 high-tech companies in five key industry clusters: Life Sciences, Learning Sciences + Human Performance, Gaming + Entertainment + Immersive Technologies, Energy + Environmental Sciences, and Semiconductors. Each cluster is led by a dedicated cluster manager which offers tailored business services and technical assistance to deep tech companies across Central Florida. Cenfluence cluster members have cumulatively raised more than $240 million in non-dilutive funding and investments since the program inception in 2021.
