The Interregional Innovation Investment (I3) Instrument

EBN together with the European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency (EISMEA), is organising an informative session to present to the EU|BIC Community the new Interregional Innovation Investment (I3) instrument.

I3 is a new funding instrument under the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) regulation, whose objective is to encourage the development of European value chains by mobilising innovation ecosystems to scale up and commercialise interregional innovation projects, enhancing the cooperation with partners from the different Member States.

The first I3 Calls have been launched for organisations to apply, and a new deadline is set for the 18th of October 2022, 17:00 (CEST). An introduction to the Instrument, but also recommendations on how to present a good proposal, will be shared during this informative session for EBN members.
