BIC Euronova S.A.
BIC Euronova, the European Business and Innovation Centre (CEEI) of Malaga, is a company made up of public and private capital, founded in 1991 on the initiative of the Commission of the European Communities, to support the creation of innovative SMEs, to promote the start-up of new innovative activities in existing SMEs and to support Public Administrations.
From the outset, the European Commission conceived the CEEIS as an international network that would allow the exchange of information and experiences between them and favour technological, commercial and financial cooperation between them and their clients. All the BICES are approved by the European Commission, and are part of a network, the European Business and Innovation Centre Network (EBN), an international scientific and technical association, which brings together more than 250 BICES throughout Europe.
Together with the shareholders, the European Commission through the D.G. Regio supported financially the launching of the CEEI Malaga during the first two years and actively participated in the selection of its managing director.
Bic Euronova maintains stable collaboration agreements with various agents involved in the creation and consolidation of companies such as the University of Malaga, AJE Malaga, the Fundación Red Andalucía Emprende, CDTI among the most significant.
