In 2019 the GEC embarked on a €10m expansion project supported by a long term loan from ISIF (The Ireland Strategic Investment Fund), funding from Enterprise Ireland under the Regional Enterprise Development Fund, a loan guarantee from Dublin City Council, funding from the Guinness Workers Enterprise Fund via Diageo and funding from Dublin BIC.
