Item Oxygen operates successfully for over 20 years in the medical and biomedical sector throughout the Italian territory with 2 main offices: one in Southern Italy (Altamura-Bari) , the other one ine Center-North Italy (San Giuliano - Pisa).



They have become troughout the years a landmark for the entrepreneurial community on the territory of Murgia Area in the Apulia Region while at the same time gaining credibility through their interaction with Regional Authorities, Chambers of commerce, Universities and Research Centers as a main element of their enterprise strategy.



Item Oxygen uses its own Research center accredited at MIUR (Italian Ministry for Research and University) for its innovation and research activities.



The main activities developed within Item Oxygen are as follows:


Design, construction and maintenance of facilities dedicated to the use of medical gases
Design, manufacture of electronic devices for the management of some chronic diseases in both home and hospital
Design and strategic consulting on industrial research and innovation projects.
Among the various activities and projects developed by Item Oxygen during the last years, we can mention three very innovative systems in the medical sector developed and marketed directly by the company:



RESERVATION INFORMATIVE SYSTEM FOR EMERGENCY - RISE has the goal of simplifying patient access procedures to the Hospital critical area. The Rise project aims to provide the Health administration with a system for the management of intensive therapy Networks in order to optimize access and exit procedures.
ITEM TRANSPLANTS NETWORK - ITN is a very innovative management system designed to support the Transplant Regional Center , in managing all necessary steps for a successful and complete transplantation of human organs;
ITEM SANITY SYSTEM - ISS allows you to control and respect the limits and rules of the level of bacterial charge present within the Operative rooms, Intensive therapies and Hospital departments.
