Xavier uses unconventional ideas to bring people together. By thinking outside the box and linking seemingly disparate concepts, he develops disruptive solutions that change the way people connect.
As co-founder and CEO of Pretty Fun Therapy, Xavier created a visionary tool that added a social dating layer on top of any mobile game. His company was acquired in 2016 by Match Group, and the product was rebranded as “Match Connect.” He is now head of Mobile Growth at Match/Meetic, where he and his team are tasked with developing software that will connect singles from any mobile app or website.
Xavier’s path to success began by bucking the trend. After graduating from Ecole Centrale Paris, instead of taking a well-paid engineering job, he travelled to South Africa, where he discovered a hip hop band from Soweto. He created his own label and released the first South African hip hop album in Europe, selling 100,000 units. He then joined Universal Music, where he led business development and worked closely with a wide range of tech companies related to videogames, web and mobile agencies, digital distribution, and streaming services. Before launching his own company, he worked as the Chief Product Officer at Mediastay managing a team of 15 developers working in the online gaming industry.
Xavier is always looking for exceptional collaborators with whom he can build great things. Follow him on Twitter @xav2b or email him at email@example.com.
