Today, 10 November 2015, Philippe Vanrie , CEO of EBN participates actively in a working group focusing on the internationalisation of SMEs of the Walloon Region. He has been invited by the Vice President of the Walloon Government and Minister for Economy, Industry, Innovation and Digital , Jean-Claude Marcourt. EBN and other key actors – such as AWEX , EEN and the NCPs- of the economic development through the support to the creation of SMEs in the Belgian and European landscapes will meet twice before the end of the year to discuss new and impacting proposals for SMES that will improve the current trend. The second meeting will enable these key players to enrich, structure and rank the measures identified during the first meeting.
This Internationalisation working group is one of the 5 factors listed in the Plan PME 2015-
2019 (Walloon Small Business Act) wants to implement in order to take up the challenge of the creation and growth of Walloon SMEs.
This plan has two objectives:
- to strengthen the creation and growth potential of Walloon SMEs;
- Encourage the emergence of new champions within the walloon economic fabric.
This plan will focus on 5 pillars : financing, internationalisation, entrepreneurship, innovation and administrative simplification.
