Back to all posts

Awarding the most impactful entrepreneurship support programmes in the Green Transition

After last year’s success, the EU|BIC Excellence Awards are back! This year, we are celebrating and recognising the impact EU|BICs generate in supporting business and entrepreneurship that create green innovation and contribute to the green transition.

Energy, transport and mobility, sustainability, environment and circular economy: the green transition also passes through a change of mindset, behaviours, skills, resources, technologies, business and financial models of startups and SMEs in different sectors and regions of Europe, and the world. With this second edition of the EU|BIC Excellence Awards, EBN is showcasing the efforts of the EU|BIC Community to promote and support the shift towards a more sustainable and environmentally friendly future, by promoting and supporting the creation of green and sustainable new businesses, supporting the transition of existing companies, or enabling the development and uptake of innovative green solutions.

The 5 finalists will be on stage at the 2025 EBN Congress to pitch their programme. The EU|BIC community will vote to decide the winning programme which will be awarded during EBN Congress 2025 in Barakaldo, Spain. The winner will be featured in the next EBN publications and events and get 2 free tickets for their presence at EBN Techcamp 2025, taking place 19 – 21 November in Nivelles, Belgium.
