About ID2Green

SMEs often face barriers when shifting to sustainable models, including a lack of knowledge, infrastructure, and funding.
ID2Green bridges these gaps. On one hand, it provides collective services, such as workshops and events, participation in the Solvay Business School MBA, and tailored inter/intra-company trainings. On the other hand, ID2Green provides individualised advice, tailored action plans, and strategic partnerships, helping companies turn sustainability challenges into opportunities for innovation and growth.

- Low carbon diagnosis: proposing a tailored action plan, considering all aspects of a company from business modelling to waste management and responsible purchasing (free of charge, funded by the EU).
- Low-Carbon Follow-up: helping SMEs move from theory to action with tailored support.
- ESG Diagnosis: Assessing current performance and identifying strategic priorities and recommendations
- Risk & Race: gamified learning tool exploring reasons for a shift to a circular economy, the principles behind circular economy strategies and how they can contribute to resilience and profitability, as well as barriers to implementation.
- Strong Partnerships: Collaborations with public (INBW) and private (D-Carbonise) partners enhance support, bringing expertise and new funding channels directly to SMEs.

Domaine W, an organic champagne producer, relied on ID2Green low-carbon diagnosis. Its results allowed Domaine W to enhance energy efficiency, optimise packaging, and explore cork alternatives. With support from the tech centre SIRRIS, they analysed the feasibility of a deposit-return system for champagne bottles. Although a pre-test phase revealed the investment was too high for their production scale, the insights led them to initiate discussions with major glass industry players. This collaboration shows how ID2Green empowers SMEs to explore ambitious sustainable innovations, even when full implementation may require broader industry shifts.
