This was the first message heard by the 17 SmartAgriFood companies during the "Perfect Pitch Trial" training held in Brussels last 18 and 19 April.
The "Perfect Pitch Trial" was a two-day intense training where the 17 finalist companies from the SAF (SmartAgriFood) accelerator programme had the chance to practise their business pitch and receive one-to-one feedback from an expert trainer, their SmartAgriFood mentors and several EBN experts from the Bioeconomy Special Interest Group.
The day after, the training was followed by a workshop on how to build an effective "Branding and Marketing" strategy. The key lessons were:“Be present, build relationships, develop trust”, and the SmartAgriFood companies found it very useful to learn how good brands are built upon points of differentiation and can develop an entire company’s reputation. The SmartAgriFood accelerator is organising two more workshops, in the coming months: one on Investors Readiness and one on IP Protection and Legal Issues. We highly encourage you and/or your companies to register for these events.
